The COVID-19 pandemic has undoubtedly been a disruptive force in our lives, and it's perfectly normal to still be struggling with its impacts on our mental health and well-being. Research has shown that since the pandemic, there has been an increase in depression and anxiety, high levels of stress and trauma, social isolation, negative economic impact, sleep disorders, substance use, relationship problems, and grief and loss. Yet, even amid adversity, there is hope.
There's no denying the profound impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on mental health globally. As we've navigated unprecedented uncertainty and loss, it's also important to recognize the potential for positive change. Many have discovered their inner strength and resourcefulness, forging deeper connections with loved ones, and embracing the importance of self-care. This time has taught us that even in the face of hardship, personal growth and transformation are possible.
Whether you're experiencing heightened stress due to the pandemic or facing unrelated issues that have been exacerbated by recent events, we can partner to identify tools and resources needed for healing and transformation. No matter the root cause of your struggles, I'm committed to helping you build resilience and work toward a more fulfilling life.
You’re a courageous and unique individual living in a sometimes confusing and mixed-up world. Maybe you've tried to figure things out on your own but are struggling. It makes sense that you may need someone to talk with. We all do sometimes.
