For some, it's helpful to have a brief phone consultation before scheduling the first therapy session. I'm happy to do this because I know that deciding to attend therapy and choosing a therapist can be difficult.
After the consultation, we can set up your first session, which is a one-hour evaluation. During that session, I'll ask questions regarding your specific struggles, symptoms you're experiencing, impairment in functioning, and general life history. By using a collaborative approach, we'll explore how you hope to benefit from our time together and determine our steps to get you there.
After the evaluation, we will decide on the frequency of sessions and schedule follow up therapy appointments.
I am a private pay and out-of-network (OON) provider. I can provide a superbill for those using OON benefits

One Hour Evaluation (1st appointment) $205
55 Minute Session - $205
40/45 Minute Session - $190
During our sessions, a variety of therapeutic modalities are used to support you, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family System (IFS), Buddhist Psychology, mindfulness/meditation/breathing, person-centered therapy, and others. (I'm happy to explain all of that!) We'll focus on your strengths (trust me, you have them) to see how you might access them even when it's challenging. And I can teach you coping skills, which are often practiced in session (and between sessions) to manage stress, mental health issues, and overall life difficulties.
